Why You Need a Collagen Supplement in Your Diet

Hi friend! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I took a nice break from my regular routine, and enjoyed some much needed time off [hence no post this past Friday].

The Difference Between a Collagen and Gelatin

I tested several kinds of collagens and gelatins before deciding on Neocell’s Collagen Supplements. From bone broths to gelatins to different collagens, I decided a marine collagen is my favorite.

It is the easiest to add into your routine, and it is flavorless. A bone broth is something I would add into a soup, but not take on its own. I do not care for the flavor by itself.

The simplest way to explain the difference is that Collagen never gels, while gelatin does. Collagen is a great additive to beverages, smoothies, tea, and coffee. Gelatin is great with jellos, gummies, or desserts.

    Nice! To be honest there is not hat much info about benefits coming from collagen and that’s really a shame as it’s extremey undervalued. Thanks a lot for writing this article, I hope many more people will gather some knowledge from it and start supplementing themselves with collagen 😛
