Hi friend! Do you ever get stuck in a rut with your life, and you just need a touch of inspiration? Me too! So I thought it would be fun to share with you some of my favorite simple living podcasts!
Since I started traveling to college twice a week, I wanted to listen to something besides the radio. This is when I stumbled onto the world of podcasting!
It quickly became a way for me to learn about simplifying my life, blogging, and self-improvement. My quality of life is steadily improving, because I keep my mind open to learning new things. And I believe you can do the same thing with your life!
[This is something I have wanted to share for a while, so I hope you enjoy it!]
My Favorite Simple Living Podcasts
This list will be in no particular order, but I do want to point out that these podcasts fall into a few categories of simple living. I listen to podcasts that inspire my own journey, so I have included any and all that inspire us to slow down and live the life we deserve.
Melissa and Kate are minimalist friends who share the value of living simple and finding balance with family and work. I personally love both of these ladies, and enjoy their banter in each episode.
The peace and calm that they can bring into my day also reminds me to slow down and soak in the moment.
Becky O Cole is very charming! I love her approach to eating and enjoying each season. I could listen to her talk about herbs, foraging, and treating yourself for longer than I care to admit.
Her podcast is full of amazing content, so be sure to put her on your list!
Melissa started on the Cohesive Home Podcast, and now has her own podcast! She interviews people who are living the minimalist lifestyle or some variation of it. Her mission is to show you that a minimalist lifestyle isn’t a one size fits all.
What is really cool? I’m actually one of the people she interviewed [Episode 3]!
Sara is a pretty cool chick! Her sense of humor and whit keep me wanting more. Her advice is practical and simple to follow.
The episodes are quick and to the point, and normally less than 10 minutes. So if you have a quick break, go check out her podcasts!
She is no longer posting new episodes, but Sara’s podcast is still worth the investment.
Being a modern homesteader is not the same as a traditional homesteader. With all of the new technology, knowledge, and access to information, homesteading is transforming.
I love all of the different lessons I have listened to in this podcast, because it has inspired my own homesteading journey. I am not nearly as self-sustainable as this podcast gentleman, but I am working to get there.
This is a fun podcast for me, because I love the idea of being a self-sustainable farmer and possibly turning it into an income. With the help of an accounting friend, this farmer learns which investments are worth it, and which can be left to others.
Plus, there are some pretty great stories, if you are into that sort of thing!
So here is another homesteading podcast that I love. To me, homesteading enables us to slow down and really live simple lives.
This show offers a range of topics and information that you can start applying into your life instantly. They even share other successful homesteader’s stories, so that you can see how much this lifestyle varies from family to family.
This podcast is full of so much valuable information for anyone who loves to garden, preserve foods, or learn about many different things in the homegrown realm. I really enjoy the guests Theresa has on her podcast, because each provide a different perspective and lots of advice.
Sami is another friend of mine that I’ve really enjoyed learning from during this journey. While she primarily focuses on finances, she is all about living your best life! What I love most about Sami is that she isn’t afraid to tell you how things are. She is direct, but caring.
Sami was also kind enough to host me on her podcast [Episode 23], so be sure to give it a listen as well!
Ever wonder what kind of impression you will leave on this world? Ever wonder what kind of impression your clothing will leave on this world?
Kestrel investigates different ways to be conscious of the clothing decisions we make each time we shop. She interviews so many amazing people from all walks of life, and shares their stories.
Since I started listening to this podcast, I have really stepped up my morals when it comes to shopping for clothing.
These are just a few simple living podcasts that I listen to currently. If you would like to see my list for business inspiration, let me know below in the comments.
Did I leave out any of your favorite simple living podcasts?
