Hi friend! Do you ever get stuck in a rut with your life, and you just need a touch of inspiration? Me too! So I thought it would be fun to share with you some of my favorite simple living podcasts!

Since I started traveling to college twice a week, I wanted to listen to something besides the radio. This is when I stumbled onto the world of podcasting!

It quickly became a way for me to learn about simplifying my life, blogging, and self-improvement. My quality of life is steadily improving, because I keep my mind open to learning new things. And I believe you can do the same thing with your life!

[This is something I have wanted to share for a while, so I hope you enjoy it!]

Where do you pull inspiration from to help you in your journey? I am HUGE fan of podcasts, because you can listen to them anywhere. In this particular post, I am sharing the podcasts that I love pulling simple living inspiration from as I drive to and from work, cook, or work in the garden. I hope you find some new inspiration from this list.

My Favorite Simple Living Podcasts

This list will be in no particular order, but I do want to point out that these podcasts fall into a few categories of simple living. I listen to podcasts that inspire my own journey, so I have included any and all that inspire us to slow down and live the life we deserve.

This includes minimalism, simple living, homesteading, life inspiration, etc. Let’s get to it, shall we?

Cohesive Home Podcast //

Melissa and Kate are minimalist best friends who share the value of living simple and finding balance with family and work. I personally love both of these ladies, and enjoy their banter in each episode.

The peace and calm that they can bring into my day also reminds me to slow down and soak in the moment.

Functioning Minimalist //

Sara is a pretty cool chick! Her sense of humor and whit keep me wanting more. Her advice is practical and simple to follow.

The episodes are quick and to the point, and normally less than 10 minutes. So if you have a quick break, go check out her podcasts!

The Lavendaire Lifestyle //

Aileen is a pretty popular millennial on YouTube, and she more recently started a podcast. The way she empowers herself and others is interesting.

I love listening to her podcast, because we do not think the same. I will also be honest when I say that I do not always agree with her, BUT her curiosity about life intrigues me.

It inspires me to be more open minded to pursuing the life of my dreams.

Homesteady //

Being a modern homesteader is not the same as a traditional homesteader. With all of the new technology, knowledge, and access to information, homesteading is transforming.

I love all of the different lessons I have listened to in this podcast, because it has inspired my own homesteading journey. I am not nearly as self-sustainable as this podcast gentleman, but I am working to get there.

The Beginning Farmer Show //

This is a fun podcast for me, because I love the idea of being a self-sustainable farmer and possibly turning it into an income. With the help of an accounting friend, this farmer learns which investments are worth it, and which can be left to others.

Plus, there are some pretty great stories, if you are into that sort of thing!

The Modern Homesteading Podcast //

So here is another homesteading podcast that I love. To me, homesteading enables us to slow down and really live simple lives.

This show offers a range of topics and information that you can start applying into your life instantly. They even share other successful homesteader’s stories, so that you can see how much this lifestyle varies from family to family.

Conscious Chatter with Kestrel Jenkins //

Ever wonder what kind of impression you will leave on this world? Ever wonder what kind of impression your clothing will leave on this world?

Kestrel investigates different ways to be conscious of the clothing decisions we make each time we shop. She interviews so many amazing people from all walks of life, and shares their stories.

Since I started listening to this podcast, I have really stepped up my morals when it comes to shopping for clothing.

Cruelty Free Podcast //

FAIR WARNING! This podcast is not for the weak of heart. Aveondamn shares the dirty, scary truth about animal cruelty, and what it means to live a cruelty free lifestyle. My minimalism journey has inspired so many thoughts and changes, so when I found this podcast, I knew it would change my life.

I have cried a couple of times due to the rawness of this show, and I appreciate the fact that someone is willing to share the truth behind animal cruelty in a caring way.

These are just a few simple living podcasts that I listen to currently. If you would like to see my list for business inspiration, let me know below in the comments.

Have you listened to any of these? If so, which ones and what do you think about them? I would also love any recommendations! I am always looking for new podcasts to help inspire my journey.

If you enjoyed this post, I would love for you to share it via Pinterest or Facebook!

I was surprised not to see The Simple Show with Tsh Oxenreider on this list. I love listening to her and guests talk about about how they live their best lives and say no and yes to the right things.

I have not heard of The Simple Show until now, so I will definitely have to give it a try! Thank you for the recommendation, Jordan!! Podcasts are definitely one thing I am not minimal with, because you never have enough resources to learn from, in my opinion! 🙂
