I love being inspired to live a better life. I also love sharing things that inspire me, which is why the Friday Favorites series exists. For the big #10, we are combining minimalism and simple living inspiration into a big kick into gear, because sometimes that is exactly what we need in our journeys.
I hope you enjoy these picks!
Friday Favorites – Minimalism and Simple Living Inspiration
11 Ways to Complicate Your Life – Before you click this link, know that it is meant to be funny and sarcastic. Carrie is someone that I have followed for a while, and has been through a lot. The fact that she is still able to provide a sense of humor to her life amazes me! This is why she is my first inspiration this Friday!
2 // How to STOP being messy and get organized – Jenny Mustard offers great advice on her channel. This video is probably one of my favorites! I do not typically have a problem with a messy home, but she provides great options for when I get a little lazy with house work. The tips she provides are simply and seem rather easy to accomplish, which is always a plus in my book!
3 // Eco & Ethical Alternatives to Zoella’s Fall Style – One thing I have been thinking about lately is ethical fashion. One problem I have had researching this is not being able to find a variety of ethical brands or stores that offer a good variety of options. I love this video because both are provided for us!
4 // Minimalism Inspiration: 20 Quotes – Zoey shares 20 of her favorite minimalism quotes, and I love how most of them are short and sweet. They are also a good reminder of why people choose to live a simpler lifestyle.
5 // The True Cost – I watched this documentary on Netflix last week, and it was alarming! I cannot believe how consumerism driven people are and what that means for the companies that produce fast fashion. I encourage you to watch this ASAP! if you are one who loves fast fashion. You may just change your mind… I know I have!
How was that for combining minimalism and simple living inspiration into one awesome Friday Favorites? A few of these are a good kick in the booty to get to work, but at the same time, they help us focus on doing it purposefully!
I hope you enjoyed this post, and I would love to chat about it below in the comments!
